Ah yes, back to the refresh that pauses! As I look at the world today, I feel ambivalent! Really love the way that sounds! There are two basic statements, that conterdict each other. 1) There's no such thing as a free lunch! 2) Therefore, why should you expect one?
But I say, 1) who says so? 2) And, why shouldn't I?
You come into this world, majestically being, and right away, this tubular thing, attached to your tummy, starts feeding you. It's an umbical cord, and, it's attached to your Mommie in the womb... Of course, somebody could remove little you from that life support system, but, say they don't... why you pop out of there and Mommie lets you have a "free lunch"! In fact, going back to the Garden, all us kids had to do was, tend the garden and, don't eat the forbidden fruit... but we could free lunch on the other trees.
But, I'm refering to John 6:9, amongst other Gospels, the feeding of the 5,000... FREE LUNCH!

Looking at the world today, I feel ambivalent.

Gosh! I like the sound of that. In fact, I may use that as my opening line, from now on. Instead of being myopic, and worrying about what just concerns me, myself, and me, too.
Get a telescopic vision. See the stars, the rains, the blowy snows. And a turkey who made it past another Thanksgiving.
First, of course we see the oppressive forces of Biggy Brohoohoohah. And then we see the not Winston Smiths, who answer" YES!" To Winston, who tastes like a cigar. The royal RED Dragon and the not much of a cuddly Bear, who along with the Cong, murdered my buddies, and opened up the spitting upon us Left, "my wife and 48 children, alone in the kitchen, in a starving condition, without any gingerbread Left, Right, Left!" ... Ah, the Good Ole Boy Scouts! Camp Sam Wood, and even Hillside in Wyoming,New York, where I went to church camp.
Then the diary farm, in Lima, where I went back my Junior Varsity Year(1962) to High School, made the Varsity football team in June of '63, wrote over a thousand poems, becoming the "Bard of Avon,NY" (in '62), dated a cheerleader. and did the whole yard's American Teenage Dream thing. Before I said, "Ship a ahoy! to my girl with the golden curls, and joined the Navy, for sunny Viet Nam... Oh, Goody!
