I'm planning to set up a Dennis Hopper fanclub page. In case you missed it:


Daniel Bell at Tippicanoe asked Captain Speer Spencer for his daughter's hand in marriage, that

connected the Bells (related to Alexander G. of telephone fame) with the Spencers, ie. Winston

and his Grandaughter, Princess Di ( of Chuck and Di fame) to the Bells. Who were already

connected to Prime Minister Mc Millon, and I wear the Plaid, in the MacMillon-Bell Clan. How-

someever, it seems that my Mother Frances Meekin Bell was already connected to the Spencers,

which means that Mop and Pop were kinda cousins by marriage. "Which," Mother remarked,

"explained the children." And, then there was Elvira Standish, related to Captain Miles of

Mayflower fame.Though it seemed that we Bells had come over from England way before

that. So that James Bell fought with "Mad" Anthony Wayne of Revolutionary War fame.

Anyhoo, the Bells settled in "Bell Prarie, Indiana... which is where in 1850, Jay Mix Bell

(related to the "Silent Cowboy", Tom Mix,) in Galveston near the Bell Prarie Community was

born and had a Daughter Elizabeth, who married Jay Hopper, had a son Jay M.Hopper, who

through his wife, Marge, gave birth to a son, Dennis Lee Hopper of also movie/cowboy fame.

Elizabeth had a brother George Frederick Bell, who had a Son, J.Francis Bell, who had

a son, yours truly. Hence, Dennis was my 2nd Cousin.
