Inflation,costs,jobs

Going to the grocery store, I bought a 5th Avenue candy bar... that I used to buy for a nickel when I was washing dishes for $1 an hr. plus meals (1963).I just stared at it - 99 cents, and a Three Musketeers-75 cents!
15-almost 20 times the 1963 price... That means that the
minumum wage should be $15-$20 to keep up with inflation.
Well, how do you like the new "change" so far? What's
next-$1.50-$2.00 for a pay phone call? The good news?
McDonald's is doing well, plenty of jobs there! Hey, I paid
my way through college working there!
